The SRT Team
Here are just a few of our dedicated team. Some have their SRT Certification, some have become SRT Teaching Assistants, and some have become SRT instructors. They are a diverse and fun group.
How to become an SRT Assistant and/or part of the SRT Team
An SRT Assistant needs to:
1) Declare an interest to Taya or Debbie.
2) Attend the SRT classes at least twice.
3) Submit a résumé.
4) Be willing to take feedback about their help.
5) Give Taya feedback about her teaching.
6) Attend retreats and team building sessions.
7) Use SRT in their practice.
8) Promote SRT by sharing their successes.
9) Be willing to have fun and want to grow.
Certificate of Achievement for SRT Certification
This is the certificate that a participant receives after they become a Certified SRT Therapist. To become a Certified SRT Therapist, the participant must attend all 7 basic SRT classes twice and demonstrate SRT on Taya or a designated person. SRT Certification includes a profile and photo in the Therapist Search on this website.
How to Become an SRT Instructor
To become an SRT Instructor, a participant must first be a Certified SRT Therapist. The Certified SRT Therapist must then, at a minimum, assist at all 7 basic SRT classes twice. Then, Taya will observe them teach segments of classes while assisting. Next, Taya will observe/supervise while they teach at least one full class where they will be evaluated. If they pass this evaluation, they must submit a résumé with references and a legal background check will be done. Finally, they must agree to and sign an SRT Instructor contract.
